Hello, fellow book Hunters!
Originally I was planning to release my novel Highland Dance on August 25th, which is today. Sadly it would have to be a little delayed, editing at times could be such a drag. So instead I will be posting a teaser to give you an idea as to what to expect from my book. I hope to publish it this month, and hopefully, Gods of Olympus will allow me to do so.
Highland Dance Teaser:
"Not even half an hour passed since she got home when snow-crunching steps echoed outside, and the door swung open. Alpin stepped through the threshold out of breath, eyes wide searching for her.
At the sight of Helena, he strode across the room in two long strides, grabbing her by the shoulders and smothering her in his embrace, before clashing their mouth together in a long-hungry-kiss. Helena was so surprised that she did not know what to do at first. Then relaxing somewhat in his arms, she kissed his soft lips back, nibbling on them a little. Her hand slid down his cheek, feeling a fresh stubble already blossoming.
Alpin cradled her closer to him, kissing the top of her head, breathing in the smell. Barely containing his own feelings, he admired her ignorance and strength at that moment. Mostly he was thankful for her patience. Stroking her hair, having her in his arms calmed him, but still, he could not keep the deep sighs contained, he knew that he needed to tell her about his grandfather.
“I’ve missed you.” he whispered against her hair, kissing it the top of her head again, gently swaying her in his arms.
“Me too.” came a quiet answer from her with a strange pronunciation of hers. That accent again, it made him burn for her again, bringing the last night back to his mind.
“Say that again.” he growled against her lips, as he slipped his hand through her hair, and bringing his mouth down her neck and towards her collarbone..."
